Problem I face a hue video problem only when I watch youtube movie on mozilla firefox ( for both firefox and aurora ). However, in other local player ( i.e. totem, vlc, etc. ) and google chrome are working fine. Solution Instead of using flash plugin alternative ( /etc/alternatives/mozilla-flashplugin//flashplugin-alternative.so ), I will use macromedia's flash plugin instead ( /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so ) NOTE : firefox flash plugin path is /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins google-chrome-beta flash plugin is /opt/google/chrome/libgcflashplayer.so

If you goto about:plugin , and Java Plug-in is not there. ( NOTE : you can also see Java Plug-in from Add-ons > Plugins ) You can install it manually using the following instructions below. 1. System > Administration > Software Sources You will see that google chrome is from 'http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/' stable version ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable which is point to 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/mozillateam/firefox-stable/ubuntu' This will have all the version. Even if we use older version of ubuntu, we still can see. However, if we always update ubuntu, no need to do this. This is a bit more update than firefox that is shipping with ubuntu. จริงๆ อ่านอันนี้นานมาแล้ว จดไว้หน่อยก็ดี จะได้ไม่ต้องไปคุ้ย เวลาจะต้องใช้ ตัวอย่างนี้ทำ search ในบล็อกนี่แหละ ให้ผลเหมือนกันกับ site:dsin.blogspot.com keyword 1. เซฟ ไฟล์นี้ ชื่อ อะไรก็ได้ .src เช่น dsin_blogspot.src <search name="dsin.blogspot" method="GET" action="http://www.google.com/search" queryCharset="utf-8" > <input name="q" user> <input name="sitesearch" value="dsin.blogspot.com"> <input name="hl" value="en"> </search> 2. เอาไปยัดไว้ใน /usr/lib/firefox-addons/searchplugins restart firefox ทีนึง มันจะอ่านไฟล์ .src แล้วสร้างไฟล์ .xml ให้เองเลย ปล. ถ้าจะใส่ icon ให้รูปขนาด 16x16 ( .gif หรือ .png ) ตั้งชื่อให้เหมือนไฟล์ .src แล้วเอามาวางไว้ที่เดียวกัน เช่นๆ ผมก็อบเอา favicon ของ blogger มาทำเป็นไฟล์ dsin_blogspot.gif

Make sure that you tick "Load images automatically" in Preferences, and have no Exceptions.

Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced > Network > Settings i.e. proxy01.ait.ac.th ( use inside school to go outside only )
